Worried about your eye health? Here you will find all information that you will require for taking care of your eyes. Take a look:

Our eye hospital offers a range of services including eye exams, cataract surgery, LASIK, glaucoma treatment, and pediatric eye care. We also offer optical services such as eyeglass fittings and contact lens prescriptions.
You can make an appointment by calling our office. We recommend scheduling appointments ahead of time to ensure availability.
Please bring your insurance card, a list of current medications, and any previous medical records related to your eye health. You may also need to bring prescription glasses or contacts if you wear them regularly.

Don’ts:

  • Do not rub your eye with your hands. It can cause eye infections. If your eye waters or itches, you can wipe it gently with a clean tissue or a sterile, moist cotton swab.
  • Do not have a shower bath for the first 15 days after surgery. You can take a bath below the chin only and use a wet towel to wipe your face.
  • Eye washing with normal water is not allowed for 15 days.
  • Do not indulge in activities that might cause damage to your eyes. Do not play with children or engage in contact sports or activities like swimming for a month to avoid any chances of infections or injuries.
  • Do not lift heavy weights. If possible, avoid deep and straining cough, sneezing and straining hard for stools for a month. These activities might increase the pressure in your eyes.
  • Do not turn towards the eye operated, during sleep

Do’s:

  • Shaving from next day.
  • You can resume activities like watching TV as per the advice of your doctor.
  • Do instill eye drops regularly, as advised by your eye doctor.
  • Do wash your hands with soap and water before you apply any eye medications.
  • No protective eye cap but have to wear protective glasses.
  • Do clean your eyes with cotton, 2-3 times a day.
  • Do contact your doctor immediately if you feel pain, redness, watering, decrease in vision in the operated eye.

  • Take a nap for few hours immediately after the surgery
  • Use the medications as prescribed
  • Avoid rubbing your eyes
  • Wear protective eye shields
  • Wear dark glasses or sunglasses
  • Avoid eye makeup
  • Prefer baths and avoid showers
  • Avoid driving
  • Avoid contact sports and strenuous exercise
  • Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any irritation
